The silicone rubber is made of methyl silicone rubber (VMQ) and is a rubber compound for versatile thermal sealing applications, as well as at low and high temperatures, the material properties of the rubber compound change only insignificantly. The rubber is odorless, tasteless and electrically insulating, is characterized by a very good elasticity in the cold area and is approved for use in the food industry (FDA compliant). The resistance to oils, fats, oxygen, ozone, UV rays, weathering and aging is very good, as well as good against weak acids and alkalis.
