The silicone rubber is made of methyl silicone rubber (VMQ) and is a rubber compound for versatile thermal sealing applications, as well as at low and high temperatures, the material properties of the rubber compound change only insignificantly. The rubber is electrically insulating and is characterized by a very good elasticity in the cold area. The resistance to oils, fats, oxygen, ozone, UV rays, weathering and aging is very good, as well as good against weak acids and alkalis.
