EPDM black 70Sh drinking water rolls
suitable for drinking water, good weather resistance (UV / ozone resistant) & aging resistance (long-lived)
The EPDM rubber consists of peroxide cross-linked ethylene-propylene-diene rubber and is the most commonly used rubber compound for special sealing applications in the industrial water sector. The rubber is characterized by a very good weather resistance, ozone resistance and temperature resistance (up to + 120 ° C) and is suitable for direct contact with drinking water. KTW 1.3.13 D1 u. D2 (cold water and hot water) certified. The resistance to aging, many media, steam, hot water, acids and alkalis is good.
The medium-hard rubber compound has a hardness of about 70°Shore A and is the usual standard hardness for rubber, comparable to car tires. The best choice for many applications. The rubber compound remains dimensionally stable under pressure over a large area and springs in slightly
